ELECTION
During the IMSA Alumni Association Annual Meeting, the membership is to elect Directors to serve a 2-year term on the Board. In odd-numbered years, odd-numbered director seats become available. This year, the these available seats would serve for the August 1, 2027-July 31, 2029 term. Elected incumbent Directors retain their seats, with remaining elected Directors to be sorted by votes received and alphabetically, then seats to remaining available seats in numerical order.
Note: Directors serve staggered two-year terms. Current even-numbered director seats' terms expire on July 31, 2028. Officers are appointed annually by the Board of Directors.
Any alumni wishing to be nominated and be listed on the ballot must submit an online nomination form and an optionally provide a candidate statement by June 25, 2027.
A list of candidates and their statements will be posted following the nomination deadline.
Voting is a two-step process:
1. Voter Registration - this ensures that voters are eligible and receive access to one ballot. When voting opens or Within two days (whichever is later) by email, you will receive a unique "ballot code" to be used when you cast your ballot.
2. Cast Your Ballot - this form will officially record your votes. Any votes submitted without a valid "ballot code" will be disqualified.
Voting for the election shall begin online by July 2, 2027 and will continue until July 16, 2027. If an alumni member has not voted prior to the close of online voting, a ballot may be cast in the manner prescribed during the Annual Meeting on July 17.
